At last.....

Now that you have Etta James' tune in your head, it is time to show you our new blank slate. These are the ultimate 'before' shots. No furniture, no boxes, just a blank slate for us to create our home in.

Dining Room:

Great Room/Living Room:

Bonus Room (will be office and craft room):

There are more rooms and many more pictures, but I figured this was a good start for today =)

Over the next months (years?), I'll be customizing each space with a little paint, some trims, and a whole lot of furniture and accessories. I plan to take you room by room through the process of customizing and decorating it.  I'll start with my idea board, then show you the in progress, and ultimately the finished product.  I would love, love, love any input and ideas along the way! Sharing this process with you will be just the motivation I need to get cracking on all these projects, rather than letting the sheer size of this house (5500 sq ft) overwhelm me, and leave me in a lump in the corner of a room in a daze, not knowing where the heck to start!

I look forward to bringing you with me on this journey!

Linking to my favorite Parties!

It's beautiful, but what a size! I'm going to enjoy watching you make it comfortable, but I don't envy you the cleaning.
