Welcome to our home....this is what you'll see upon entering the front door:
The entry is simply decorated, with sleigh bells on our front door, and festive berries and bobbles in the umbrella stand:
You then enter into the Great Room:
Just through the french doors, flanking the fireplace, is the Sunroom:
Our next project is painting and decorating the stairway. You can see it just to the right on this next picture:
I love our antique armoire. So glad we went with this option! You can read more about the armoire here.
I'm still looking for a new mirror for above the fireplace. This one is far too small, but I need something fabulous, so I'd rather wait to find the perfect one, than to settle, so my old one will have to do for now!
I'll be sharing more about our Christmas tree, in more detail, soon!
Can you spot the special 'present' under the tree. She blends in well, so it is tricky to see her. Hint: She's black and orange, has green eyes and loves to purr =)
The coffee table is simply decorated with Paperwhites, just starting to grow, candles and chestnuts.
I hope you enjoyed your look around! Next on the Christmas tour is our kitchen and dining room.

Love how your restraint with the holiday decorations allows the beauty of your Arts & Crafts elements in the room to shine ... your fireplace and trim moulding are gorgeous. I'm visiting from Between Naps .. Porch and I'm going to look around your blog for more inspiration.

Your great room is beautiful! I love the wood door frames and transoms and your fireplace is beautiful. What a great armoire too. Lovely Christmas decorations.
You have a beautiful home, and now it's wonderfully decorated for the season. I'm trying to get some of my decorating done.

Your great room is so pretty! It looks very spacious and well decorated. I really love all the wood trim in there. It gives it a nice rustic quality which suits the style of your home. That armoire is gorgeous! I think it makes a wonderful statement in your room. I wish I could've placed mine on a wall by itself like that but my family room is chocked full of openings and windows. I was very limited on where I could place mine. Yours is perfect where it is! So, did you get a new kitty?
Oh soooo PRETTY!!! You are way ahead of me...I hope I can get started mid-week.
Blessings,
Linda
