Today I'm joining My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia for the Mantel party, and tomorrow, Rhoda for her Mantel Party! This year, I had two mantels to decorate: one in the Great Room, and one in the Sunroom. These two mantels are actually part of the same fireplace, just on opposite sides of the wall.
Fist up is the Great Room mantel:
I went with a woodland type theme, with plenty of natural elements. I used Pheasant feathers, pinecones and greenery.
I adore this icicle garland, I purchased last year at Chintz and Co. It is the perfect bit of sparkle to compliment the rustic elements.
I have a little more bling in the urns on top of the mantel.
We have small hooks on the board, used for hanging the stockings. While I love our stockings, I actually prefer the look of the mantel without the stockings. We don't hang them up until Christmas Eve.

And now for the Sunroom mantel:
I kept it very simple, in contrast to the more elaborate mantel on the other side.
I look forward to seeing all the wonderful mantel inspiration at the party!

I'm loving the peacock feathers - what a neat touch to an already gorgeous fireplace. I really love a nature inspired look, and yours is no exception!
Looks so gorgeous! Love the feathers too!
I just love your woodland decor on your family room mantel. I did the same thing on mine. I love the feathers and large pinecones on it. You're lucky to have two mantels to get to decorate. I wish I had two fireplaces.
Ah, more peeks at these gorgeous rooms! Great natural mantel decor. Love the icy garland and the large cones.
These are gorgeous! Beautiful mantels! Enjoy the fabulous day, Kellie xx
