This years mantel in the living room is similar to last year, but with some added elements.
I wanted a fuller look, and did so by adding plenty of real magnolia leaves, a few faux magnolia flowers on long, iced branches, peacock feathers and a few ornaments in the center.
I also added two faux, iced orchid branches to the silver vases.

Next I will show you the other side of the fireplace. Our fireplace is doubled sided, but the sunroom side is very different from the living room side.

Great job! I like all the different elements you used in the design. The faux icicle branches look fabulous!
BEAUTIFUL Andrea!!
Soo pretty! It really meshes with the style of your home and that makes it even more beautiful! I love the peacock feathers too! So jealous that you have this done - mine is still a work in progress. Fireplace redo is still in progress! There is a light at the end of the tunnel though!
It looks beautiful!
This side looks amazing,I love what you have used the peacock feathers and magnolia leaves makes for a fantastic outdoorsy look.
Can't wait to see the sunroom side.
Andrea what attracted to your blog last year was your beautiful home. I hope you know how lucky you are to have such a gorgeous fireplace. I had to give up my fireplace when I bought my condo but I'm contemplating having an electric one put it. Your home is wonderful. Carol
What a beautiful Christmas mantel, Andrea! I love all of the elements you added ... the pops of peacock are fabulous! Happy Holidays!

That looks so nice! I love the natural look too. I still haven't decided what direction I'm going with my mantle...or my decorating :)
A woodland theme is just perfect for your home with all of that pretty stained wood in your home! I like how you added some elegant touches along with it too.
