Christmas Spirit in the Sunroom

Welcome to our sunroom at Christmas.....

Cozy up in front of the fireplace, grab a quilt and a good book......

Have you been naughty this year?

Or nice?

The Christmas Cactus, once on the verge of death, is showing off with a beautiful display of flowers....

A huge pointsettia in the garden urn....

And a hand cross stitched stocking (which only took me years to finish).......

Greenery tucked into baskets.....

And pretties on display in the cabinet....

Let's take a closer look....

Santa keeping watch....

Christmas spirit is alive and well in the sunroom!

Very pretty, Andrea! I love the pillows on your sofa. I have those designs saved, too, yet never made the pillows. I have vowed to start early in 2013 making those things I want as decorations and/or gifts, since I never seem to have enough time come Fall. Love your poinsettia in the urn; it looks so pretty and festive.

Your natural decorations are so inviting and homely. A wonderful cosy place for family and friends. Just popped over to your blog... enjoying the reading.

I love the rustic country nature of your decor out there. I think my favorite is the oversized basket filled with greenery, antlers and feathers. I think you'll enjoy sitting out there sipping hot chocolate watching the snow fall.

The room is so pretty and bright with just the right amount of Christmas! And those pillows were made for that room!

Take care, Laura

I don't think I have seen anyone who loves Christmas as much as you, and handles it all so elegantly in her home. Lovely!!

I don't like house plants as much as outdoor ones, but David has two Christmas cactuses that are in steady bloom most of the time. Not to mention the African violets. For some reason, they love our office and bloom unrelentingly over and over and over. I think it is the cool room and late afternoon sun. And neglect and infrequent waterings...

Your home looks so inviting and cozy for Christmas--it must be a treat to settle in with a good book and hot cider! (I'm new to your blog, and love your style)

I love your sunroom! We are currently enclosing our screen porch into a sunroom! We also are putting in a gas fireplace with stacked stones, but only up to the mantel. Thanks for the inspiration! Blessings, Tammy
